6.3

Display

The Display group allows for the displaying of team declarations, competitor lists, event results, match position, completed and remaining events. Some of the displays are printed automatically via the prompters.

6.3.1

Team Declaration

The Team Declaration item presents a menu of the Team Declared. Selecting any team from the menu will display the declaration. If the meeting organisers do not have any team declaration sheets for team managers, this item can be used to print a blank declaration or print a tidier copy using the F8 key. The date and time are printed to show which of potentially several printed declarations is the most recent.

6.3.2

Start Lists

The operator can display the competitors declared for any event by selecting this item and then the desired event from the Event menu. The list displayed is exactly the same as that printed automatically by the List Prompter. This feature may be of use if the operator/announcer wishes to read directly from the screen or the List Prompter has been turned off. Alternatively, this display box can be used to reprint any list which may have been updated as the result of any changes after the normal printout from the List Prompter.

6.3.4

Match Position

This item allows the operator to display the current match points and positions at any time. The display is exactly the same as that printed automatically by the Result Prompter after entry of each event result. The number of completed events will be shown until all events are complete. The number of sections in the display will vary depending on the round, the number of events entered and any ties.

For Cup and promotion matches where a points tie exists additional columns will show how many first, second etc places each team has achieved. This is intended to assist in resolving the tie.

This display may be of use if the operator/announcer wishes to read directly from the screen or the Result Prompter has been turned off.

6.3.4.A

League Match Position

For round 1 and when previous round results can not be found the display will consist of two columned sections titled, THIS MATCH and LEAGUE STANDINGS. Where all previous round results can be found a third columned section, PRIOR STANDINGS, will be added when 5 or less event results remain to be entered. This is also true before any event results have been entered thus allowing the operator to ensure all abbreviation are the same as previous round(s).
